The best thing about moving to a new country is the visits from family and friends. This past month I’ve been travelling all around Vietnam; touring with our visitors and finding lots of beautiful, hidden places, including a Cham Tower and a few weaves.
Mekong Delta
One of my most recent trips was to the Mekong Delta (for the second time in 1 month) with a friend from my university days. It had been 3.5 years since we’ve seen each other, so I knew it was going to be an EPIC trip! We took a 5-hour tour through the Mekong to see two floating markets, canals, rice fields, fruit farms and a spectacular sunrise.

Goodbye Saigon, Hello Nha Trang
After our two-day visit to the Mekong Delta, we caught a 3-hour bus back to Saigon, just in time to catch a PM flight up to Nha Trang for a relaxing vacation. If you’ve ever been to Nha Trang, you know that nothing compares to the Sailing Club located right on the beach; drink service directly to your lounge chair, gourmet breakfast menu, views of surrounding islands and 5-star facilities. Most of our 4-day vacation was spent here lounging around and swimming in crystal clear water. We even found an ancient Cham Tower called, Po Nagar.
